Located in ChBlaine County Museuminook is the Blaine County Museum, a unique facility to find in a community the size of Chinook.  The Museum offers a look at many unique historical artifacts of the area, as well as having the most comprehensive introduction to the Bear's Paw Battlefield.  People of all ages would enjoy a tour of the museum to experience everything from western culture to paleontology.  The Blaine County Museum is part of Montana's "Dinosaur Trail".

The Blaine County Wildlife Museum, currently in its "work in progress" stage, will offer a glorious collection of Montana's native wildlife in their natural settings.  Call when you visit to see if it is open.

  Entry into Bear's Paw Battlefield. Located just 16 miles south of Chinook, The Bear's Paw Battlefield is the site of the last major Indian battle in the United States.  At the Blaine County Museum you can ask to see the "40 Miles to Freedom" multimedia presentation on the battle.  It is fabulous, also the museum houses and displays many of the artifacts found at the battlefield site.
